AZ Young Artists' Competition
The Arizona Young Artists' Competition was held Saturday evening March 27th at the Herberger Theater. Apatrou Photography was a sponsor and the official photographer for the event. Preliminary competition was held earlier in the week in each of three categories; Acting, Voice, and Dance. The top four finalists from each category then competed on Saturday night. Awards were given in each category plus a people's choice award. Kate Nernhauser was the winner in Acting and Joshua Redfield won People's Choice in Acting, Aubrey Noble won both awards in Voice, and Torrin Turley won both awards in the Dance category. You can see one of my photos of Torrin taken during her winning performance below. I would definitely have to say each and every finalist was very talented.
