The Artistry of a Dancer in Portrait

This is such a lovely portrait of our favorite ballerina in 2011 Katey Konderik. Katey is such a bright light as a dancer and choreographer and a person. Katey starred in our art film La Lettre.   Please scroll down to our earlier post if you haven't seen our film that won for Best Cinematography at the Rebel Fiim Festival. Please let us know if you would like to have your artistic portrait done and give us a call.

Vintage Video - Tessa on Location

This video shows the best images from our on-location vintage photo shoot with our high school senior model Tessa Alexander . We selected three outfits and ventured out to a location in downtown Phoenix. Tessa looked awesome in and around the silver bullet trailer, vintage lawn furniture and old architectural elements. The vintage video style perfectly reflects the look of the images we created on our trip. The music is by Beckah Shae - Faith, Hope & Love and is licensed for use in this video.

We are still accepting applications for 2012 high school senior models! You can find out more about this program at our senior site: ArizonaSeniorPhotos.com.

Here is a shot from our photo session today on location with Lee Anderson, author of Developing the Art of Equine Communication. This book is in the early production stages. We will be presenting sample images to the publisher for possible use on the cover with additional images for inside Lee's book. Lee is an expert horse trainer, author, "living historian" and re-enactor. You can find out more about Lee at his site: http://historicaloldwest.org/

Remembering Bob

Bob Davis (1-26-36 to 12-21-2011) passed away recently after fighting his battle with cancer. Bob was a very unique individual, as you may gleen from these images and I was happy to call him a friend. We did a photo session with Bob late last year before he became ill. As a result, we have these wonderful images to remember him by. I hope you enjoy these beautiful portraits of Bob we created and later made into this memorial video. The song is Guardian Angel by Leah West and is licensed for use by Apatrou Photography for this video.
